Incorporated in 1970 Mt Druitt Town Rangers FC has serviced and been dedicated to Football in NSW ever since.  That's nearly 50 years of developing, implementing and advancing football for all players in the Western Suburbs of NSW; Men, Women and Youth; and forging football pathways for our community.

Founded by  two Scotsmen in the late 1960's who both loved football.  One was a Rangers fan and the other was a Celtic fan.  The name Rangers was used for one founder and the colour green was incorporated for the other.  The Gold of Australia reinforced their union and commitment to Australia,  defined how our club was forged and today we follow the same principle of co-operation and collaboration that helped create us.

As a founding member of BDSFA, we are proud of our long history of offerng football to Grassroots and Elite players alike, regardless of their background.  Our home fields are located in Emerton on the outskirts of Mount Druitt.  We are the club of choice for many surrounding districts, while still supporting the local area which has provided football with many talented players.  All players, regardless, are given advanced Football opportunities.  We also work closely with the local refugee and East African communities in providing pathways for promising boys and girls.

Mount Druitt Town Rangers is strengthened by its facilities and coaching.  Our Popondetta Pk playing surface, lighting and venue allow teams to play in most weather conditions and still provide an enjoyable and welcome experience for family and friends.  Recent improvements increased seating to over 1500, with 800+ covered, electronic scoreborad, kitchen/BBQ makeover, toilets refurbished.

Ground and facility improvements are always a focus.

Our coaching structure and qualifications are of the highest standard and filled with decades of practical experience both as players and football educators.  our coaches deliver development based football results that can be seen in our winning Club Championships in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

In 2015 Rangers compete in the FNSW Men's Premier League Youth 1 (12's to 15's), Men's Premier League 2 (16's to Seniors),  FNSW Women's State League (13g to Women's 1st), and FNSW Futsal Premier League competitions, Football NSW SAP Programme for 9's to 11's Boys.

Rangers is a Club with a long proud history and many aspire to be a Ranger...
